Lawyer with solid experience in both advisory and litigation practices within the regulatory sector of Life Sciences, Healthcare, Biotechnology, and Food Law. He provides legal counsel to national and international companies, including pharmaceutical firms, healthtechs, biotechs, health insurance providers, and startups.
He advises on the drafting and negotiation of contracts involving regulatory, commercial, and operational matters, as well as on the regulatory structuring of business models related to telehealth, healthtechs, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and joint ventures. He also develops strategies for the incorporation of new technologies into public and private healthcare systems and addresses issues related to public-private partnerships.
Flavio has experience in administrative proceedings before regulatory authorities, particularly in matters involving pharmaceutical products, biotechnology, vaccines, medical devices, medical software, and other regulated health products. He participates in legal audits for M&A and IPO transactions, leads strategic meetings with clients, and represents companies in institutional presentations before Anvisa.
He has worked in leading law firms, startups, and multinational pharmaceutical companies, holding positions as a lawyer, legal analyst, and intern. His background also includes managing civil litigation and arbitration cases, as well as implementing automation in legal document production.
Graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo – PUC/SP (2020), he holds an Executive MBA in Law: Management and Business Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV/Rio (2022) and completed an academic exchange program at King’s University College in Canada (2018).
He is a full member of the Special Commission on Medical and Health Law of the Brazilian Bar Association – São Paulo Section (OAB/SP) and has authored publications in the fields of Commercial Law, Judicial Reorganization, and LGBTQIAP+ diversity in the legal profession.
